Acts of Random Kindness (ARK) is based around the idea from the film 'Pay it forward'. It is aimed at primary school children and has been launched in the following schools: Bond, Garden, Cricket Green Special school, St Marks, St Thomas of Canterbury, Benedict, and St Teresa's Youth Project. Now scheduled for Cranmer in November and other Merton schools in the spring term 2012. It has been extremely encouraging and well received by the children and staff alike, and encourages children to do something kind, spontaneous, amazing, or special for someone else in their school, home or community, and pass it on..

The children receive wristbands, stickers, badges, pencils and bookmarks and their 'acts of kindness' are recorded in a special 'book of kindness' provided by the school for that purpose.
